Heather graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 1996 with a degree in Physical Therapy Assisting. She has practiced as a PTA in a variety of settings including acute care orthopedics, pediatrics, home health, and outpatient and inpatient rehab.
Heather took a few years off from practicing as a PTA in order to stay home with her children and to start fostering children who need the temporary love of a stable family. She is a mom of many angles- she is a step-mom to her daughter, Candace. She is a biological mom to her daughter, Kaitlyn. She is an adoptive mom to her son, Nathan. And she is currently a foster mom as well.
Heather is looking forward to working part-time with the children assigned to her at CFPTA. She hopes her joy and love for children will help encourage the children to work hard and reach the goals set for them.
