Kat Logan, a transplant from the state of Texas, is a nationally, and State of Florida licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (2007) and Master of Arts (2009) from Washington State University in Speech and Hearing Sciences.
After receiving her degrees, Kat began her clinical work with Pediatric Therapy Associates of South Florida in 2009. There she worked as a contract therapist to Plantation Hospital where she was provided the opportunity to work with premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit, as well as covering the pediatric intensive care unit, and adult acute and sub-acute care. In addition to Plantation General Hospital, she was contracted to Kidz Korner of Plantation a long-term facility for pediatric care with focus on trach and vent weaning. Upon her family’s move to Central Florida, Kat had the pleasure of transitioning into adult care in a sub-acute skilled nursing facility, which also specialized in trach and vent weaning. This position allowed Kat to work with patients who had suffered traumatic brain injury, stroke, and respiratory failure, who required speech, language, and swallowing treatment.
